I have been a jeweller for over 30 years. It is somthing that started off as a hobby and evolved into more of a proffession as the years went on. My work is inspired by the beautiful countryside of the cotswold town I grew up in, my scuba diving adventures and the flora and fauna that inspires me on my travels. I confess that I make what pleases me most of the time and I think this is reflected in the character of my art and the care I put into its crafting.
I hand build my work in sterling silver and gold and I make my own stone settings and other findings as much as possible, recycling some materials occasionally too.
Often my work may be a mixture of gold and silver and I often use precious and semi precious natural stones as well as high quality artisan glass.
I am very proud to be a member of the Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen who exhibit my work in their shop. As a member it is important for me to uphold certain standards when creating my jewellery and to provide my clients with an excellent service. My designs are as origional as possible and from my own imagination or in collusion with my clients.
My work is available to buy in store, and in some cases online, from the following galleries:
THE GLOUCESTERSHIRE GUILD OF CRAFTSMEN, 18 Rotunda Terrace, Montpellier, Cheltenham, GL50 1SW
MADE IN PAINSWICK. The Old Fleece, Bisley Street, Painswick, Stroud, Glos, GL6 6QQ
